Hey folks. So I managed to record how I apply the Cherry Lola – Caramel treatment which is used as a first step in the MHM. This is my third time doing it and I absolutely love it. With my extremely frizzy crown, I really need a boost of moisture and this treatment is basically what it does to my hair. I really love it and plan to do it once a month or two from now on. The ingredients included in my treatment are not all that are mentioned on the MHM website so I would advise if you can, to get the whole batch of products. I just use what I have and don’t stress about what I don’t have. My mixture works just fine for me though.
Ingredients of my mix
1 cup Double cream Greek yogurt – the protein content in yogurt provides ample nourishment and strengthening to the hair without making it dull or dry. The zinc and lactic acid properties help stimulate blood circulation, which aids growth
2 tbs Bicarbonate of Soda – clarifies hair and raises hair cuticle
2 tbs honey – humectant, emollient, antioxidant and antiseptic. Promotes healthy hair growth and moisture retention
2 tbs ACV – has potassium which is good for hair growth, is anti-fungal and antibacterial, helps to lift build up from scalp and hair strands
1 tbs unsulfured molasses – emollient, strengthening weak and thin hair.
1/2 banana – keeps hair hydrated and healthy, increases the moisture content of hair, smooths frizz, and soothes itchy, flaky scalp
1 egg – is protein and it strengthens hair and reduces splitting
This video shows how I mix everything together.
