So Winter is finally over and we are well into spring. Is your face looking all dull and ashy with totally no glow to it? What with this hypocritical weather? One day it is all sunny and lovely and the next day wakes up cloudy and windy. Anyway, no need to dispare. Today I want to share with you an easy recipe that will help your skin to recover from the harsh winter weather and this windy September we are having. It’s a facial scrub. Yey! Now let’s get on with it.
What you will need.
1 tbs brown sugar
Now you sure should have that in the kitchen. If you don’t have brown sugar, you can substitute it with white sugar. But the honey you definitely need because of its healing and moisturising properties.
Let’s get on to what you actually do with these goodies.
Mix the ingredients together in your palm until it becomes a paste. Apply the paste to your face in circles making sure to miss the eye area. I also apply it to my lips which often get dry and chapped as well. Rub the mixture on your face very gently and in circles for about 5 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. Pat dry, apply moisturiser and you are ready to go. Oh no before you go, if it’s during the day, do not forget to wear a sun screen as well or be sure to get a moisturiser with a good SPF to protect your skin from pre-mature ageing. If you can, wear a hat as well for that extra protection. I do this scrub all the time when my skin needs though not more than once a week
That’s all from me today. Enjoy your spring and remember, all hair is good hair. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. oxo
