Hey friends. I am so glad to be back to blogging again. I mentioned I would be MIA for a while so I could attend or rather concentrate on other aspects of my life. The thing is I have been studying for the past 4 years and this is my last year of study, at least for now. Yaaay! I am so excited and relieved as well. I was growing tired of it and since I was also working and studying only part time, it had taken longer than originally planned and I did not even have any social life for some time. Work and studying were really ruling my life and I could not do anything else without feeling guilty that I had stayed away from my books for too long. So, I am so relieved that is over now and I can do the things I love more. I have also decided to go into business full time so I quit my Engineering job so I could concentrate on Natural Moisture, my hair care business for now. I will tell you all the details on how I did that and the reason I had to do it in later posts.
Hair Update
Since I was so busy, more like close to insanity busy, my hair suffered quite a lot. You know hair and stress do not go well together and although the damage is not much, my hair made zero progress in the last 4 months or so. Not sure if the excessively dry winter we have just gone through is also to blame but I know I did not take care of my hair very well. As for the #HTL challenge, that train derailed together with my social life as I concentrated on my studies. I will just have to pick up from where I left off from and try and nurse my hair back to health again.
I have already started washing my hair every second day, inspired by the Maximum Hydration Method so that I can increase moisture levels in my strands. I am also wearing more wash n goes for the time being which I believe has a lot less manipulation than any other form of styling especially since I can’t seem to be able to keep a protective style for longer than 2 weeks. I will let you in on the details on how I am doing my hair in later posts and videos.
Thank you for coming by and if you have any questions or things you would like me to address, please put them in the comments below and I will do my best to attend to them.
Many blessings to you and yours
